Prince of the PottyMason was interested in potty training back in December/January, and then all of a sudden regressed and decided he didn’t want to do it anymore.  He knows how to the toilet works (sit, go, toilet paper, flush) and even says “bye, see ya!” when we flush.  He hates being in a poopy or wet diaper and will try to rip it off.  I think he is just too interested in playing to stop and go.
We even bought him the book Prince of the Potty and read it to him, thinking it would help.  Not so much lol.  So Chris and I decided the weekend of May 4-5 will be potty training weekend here!  Fingers crossed it goes well since we need the cloth diapers for Mia!

Mia is going to be 5 months old at the end of the week!  I can’t believe it!  She still hasn’t rolled over yet (she gets totally up on her side and is so close then rolls back), but she does this hip shimmy shake (I call her Elvis when she does it) and that’s how she scoots around.  It’s pretty comical!  I tried some solids with her again over the weekend and she has no interest, so I’ll wait a couple more weeks then try again!  She is Chris in my body as an infant – she has his personality to a T lol.

Lindsay’s baby shower was over the weekend and it was so much fun!  Her and Vito are loved by so many people and they got so many wonderful gifts for baby G!  I’m so glad I was a part of planning the shower, it was great, and so was the food and venue!  June 5th needs to come here stat – I want to hold my niece or nephew already!

I’m glad the weather is turning nicer – all of us are getting cabin fever!  I hope the weather stays nice for Day Out With Thomas on Saturday – Mason is going to lose his mind when he gets to rid a real life “steamie”.

On another note, Chris and I will be celebrating our 4 year anniversary on Wednesday!  Can’t believe we have been married for 4 years.  In that time, we have moved twice, bought two cars, and had two kids!  Can’t wait to see what the next 4 years will bring (hopefully not any more kids, no offense to the kids, but I think two is plenty HAHA).

I hear Mason getting into something so I must be going – more soon!
